By accessing this website or booking a course with Shay’s Dog Grooming, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Services

We provide dog grooming education, training courses, workshops, and related services. Course details, pricing, inclusions, and schedules are outlined on our website.

2. Bookings & Payments

  • All prices are listed in AUD.

  • A deposit is required to secure your booking.

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • The remaining balance must be paid according to the agreed payment plan.

  • Instalment plans may continue after the course start date, unless otherwise specified.

  • Full access to services or course materials may be withheld if payments are not up to date.

  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe.

3. Rescheduling & Cancellation

  • Once models are organised, course dates are locked.

  • Rescheduling: If you request a date change after models are booked:

    • Your deposit remains non-refundable

    • A flat $100 rescheduling fee applies (covers model coordination & administrative costs)

    • New dates are subject to availability

  • Cancellation: If you cancel after booking:

    • Deposit remains non-refundable

    • Any remaining course payments will be forfeited according to course terms

4. Safety & Responsibility

You agree to follow all safety instructions during the course, including:

  • Wearing closed-in shoes at all times

  • Wearing clothing you don’t mind getting wet or hairy

  • Handling dogs and grooming equipment only as instructed

  • Following hygiene and workplace safety procedures

5. Course Access & Materials

  • Course content, materials, videos, and workbooks are for personal use only.

  • You may not copy, share, resell, or distribute course materials without written permission.

  • Access to online content may be time-limited where stated.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, videos, logos, and course materials, is the property of Shay’s Dog Grooming.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shay’s Dog Grooming is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of our services or website.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.

8. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Consent for Photos

  • Certain yes/no consent items, such as taking photos during the course, are collected via the acknowledgement form.

  • These consent items require your explicit agreement before the course.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The current version will always be available on our website.
